Before coming to stay with Wail I had already tried out other surfcamps in Morocco – but nothing compares to the amazing experience I had with Surf Lovers.

Wail and everyone I met there are super welcoming and I felt like at home from the first day on. Both Wail and his brother Redouane place great value on everyone progressing their surfing abilities and tailor their coaching and advice to everyones individual skill level. I always felt safe with them in the water while still being challenged to improve every single day. After just one week I felt like a made significant progress and will definitely come back to learn more. Besides surfing my time at the camp also included a variety of different activities such as visiting local markets and learning about different surf spots and reading forecasts.

Finally, some of the best food I’ve had in Morocco was at Surf Lovers and Wail always made sure that there were plenty of vegetarian options/ extras for me.

Where to start?

The place that Wail and Signe have created is amazing. It’s beautiful, clean, it’s cosy and most of all you can feel the love that they put into it.

Signe and Wail are two of the loveliest people I have ever met, they have a big heart and will make you feel at home right away.

Wail is the best surf coach I have ever had – he has years of experience of coaching all levels of surfers and knows the surf spots by heart. Maybe he won’t show it but he and his brothers are somewhat surf celebrities and it feels like a great gift that he shares his knowledge and experience of both the region and surfing with his students.

Oh, and the food – mind blowing! I’m still dreaming of the breakfasts and dinners, the food is always freshly prepared and with many different tasty dishes. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in Morocco (or elsewhere).

We just had a great week with Signe and Wail from Surf Lovers Morocco in Tamraght. Signe and Wail are very sweet and made our stay very enjoyable. Surf Lovers is a small place and we felt just as much friends as guests. The room was great, and there are good chill areas in the house. The roof terrace where we had all our meals are really nice with great views over town and the atlantic ocean. The food was extremely nice, maroccan food, made by the best cook, in the house. Wail is an extremely proficient and dedicated surf teacher, from beginner to elite. We are beginners, and with the help of Wail we soon caught almost every wave we went for. Wail is also surf coach for young maroccans and judges competitions so I imagine you can learn a lot, whatever level you are at. We mostly went to different local beachers depending on the waves but also on some nice trips further away. There are also some great walks in the hills behind town. You will not regret a visit at Surf Lovers Morocco.
